2. General

This website is a purely informational website. It uses no cookies, no tracking, no analytics tools and embeds no content, fonts or scripts from third parties. No personal data is passed on for advertising or analytics purposes.

3. Server log files (hosting)

When this website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits. These are:

• the anonymised or shortened IP address of the accessing system,
• date and time of access,
• name and URL of the retrieved file,
• the amount of data transferred and notification of successful retrieval,
• the browser type used and, where applicable, the operating system as well as the referrer URL.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free and secure operation of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources. The log data is deleted after 7 days, unless it is exceptionally needed for longer to clarify or avert security-relevant incidents.

4. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS SE processes the aforementioned log data on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.

5. Contact (email and contact form)

If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide (in particular your email address and the content of your message) solely to handle your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual/contractual measures) or (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering your request). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

If you use our contact form, we process the details you enter there (name, email address, subject and message) for the same purpose and on the same legal basis. The form is transmitted with TLS encryption and delivered to us by email; we do not use any third-party services, external captcha providers or cookies for this. Providing your data is voluntary; without it we cannot process a request submitted via the form.

6. Your rights

In accordance with the statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to:

• information about your stored personal data (Article 15 GDPR),
• rectification of incorrect data (Article 16 GDPR),
• erasure (Article 17 GDPR),
• restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR),
• data portability (Article 20 GDPR) and
• objection to the processing (Article 21 GDPR).

Please contact the address given above for this purpose. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR), for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser's address bar.

8. Language preference

This website stores your chosen display language locally in your browser (localStorage) so that it is remembered on your next visit. This is a technically necessary, functional storage; it involves no tracking and no transfer to third parties. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
